Andy has been involved in emergency management for over 25 years. In his current position he is responsible for consulting with both public and private sector organizations in the area of emergency and disaster preparedness. Andy builds plans in emergency response, crisis and risk management, business continuity, continuity of operations, and disaster preparedness. Previously, as Senior Director Employee Learning at Sun Microsystems and Director of Global Learning at StorageTek Corporation, Andy was responsible for development and implementation of critical learning strategies across worldwide corporate functions. Before that, he volunteered for 10 years as Chief at Boulder Emergency Squad, where he was responsible for managing and leading volunteer rescue operations. Andy currently serves on the Boulder County Incident Management Type 3 Team as PIO/Liaison Officer Trainee, and Staging Manager. He earned a Masters in Education and a Bachelor in Physics from Fairfield University and is currently matriculated in the Master of Science Degree in Business Continuity Management at Norwich University, VT. He is the Information Director for the Colorado Association of Contingency Planners, is a certified EMT for over 30 years, with 10 of those years with ambulance teams and as EMT Instructor-coordinator.
Michael has been involved in homeland and national security for 36 years. In his current position, he advises public and private sector agencies, entities, and organizations regarding risk assessment and mitigation, incident command, emergency planning/management/recovery, continuity of operations, problem solving and developing and maintaining partnerships. Previously, as District Director at US Citizenship and Immigration Services, DHS, and Acting District Director at US Immigration and Naturalization Service, DOJ, Michael was responsible for his staff''s development and exercise of emergency management and continuity of operations plans. In addition, he has served as Incident Commander during local, national, and international incidents and events. Michael currently serves as volunteer for Denver Police Department. He earned Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from State University College of New York at Buffalo. He is a member of Association of Contingency Planners, Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership, and the Colorado Emergency Managers Association (past member).
George has been involved in emergency preparedness for 12 years. George’s current responsibilities include developing and teaching preparedness classes for the American Red Cross. Previously, as Operations Safety Manager at RMR Colorado, George’s private sector experience includes writing and reviewing emergency response plans, emergency response management and reducing crime vulnerability. Before that, he worked as Emergency Planning Consultant at Tutis Vero where he was responsible working and coordinating with local and State agencies, and participating in and evaluating inter-agency full-scale exercises. He is certified in numerous subjects by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security, George currently serves as Volunteer/Officer for Community Emergency Response Team, Volunteers in Policing, Amateur Radio Emergency Services, and religious civic groups. He earned Bachelors in Journalism from Florida International University. He is a member of Association of Contingency Planners, in addition to others. George was born in New York City. He has experienced emergencies first-hand, including Hurricane Andrew.
Robert has been involved in emergency management for 30 years. He is a planner and grants manager for the Colorado Division of Emergency Management in Centennial, where his primary responsibility is to provide financial and technical assistance to local jurisdictions to support the development of comprehensive, sustainable emergency management programs, including the preparation of plans, exercises and training courses. Bob is also a recovery specialist and works closely with communities that have experienced disasters to help coordinate emergency relief, government assistance programs and long-term recovery strategies. In 2007, Bob was awarded the President’s Award by the Colorado Emergency Management Association for his contributions to the field. Bob is a part-time faculty member in the Emergency Management Program at Red Rocks Community College. He earned a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Colorado and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from University of Texas. He is a member of Colorado Emergency Management Association.

Public Transportation:
The Chambers Center is Light Rail accessible. Light Rail runs parallel to I-25 and the University of Denver station is across the street from the north side of campus (Routes at DU Station E, F & H). The Light Rail station is three blocks from Chambers Center. The website is http://www.rtd-denver.com. From Downtown Denver (Market Street Station, Union Station or the 16th Street Mall) Take the E, F or H lines to University of Denver Station, which is north of Buchtel Boulevard at High Street. From Littleton Station, take the C or D Lines North to Broadway Station then transfer to the Southbound E, F, or H Line to University of Denver Station. From Denver International Airport, take the AF bus (located just outside either East or West baggage claim level, on the outermost island of the “Ground Transportation” section outside – look for “RTD- Public Bus” signs). The cost of this bus is $8 (exact change only). Upon boarding, be sure to ask for a “transfer.” Get off at Market Street Station. To get to DU from Market Street Station, exit the South door and walk to the island to take the Free 16th Street Mall Shuttle either 1.) East to Stout Street. Get off at Stout Street and take the F or H Light Rail lines SOUTH to University of Denver Station OR 2.) West to Union Station, take the E Light Rail line SOUTH to University of Denver Station. Use your transfer ticket you received from the bus so that you do not have to buy a ticket on light rail.

Walk south straight across Buchtel Boulevard toward High Street. Continue up High street to the corner of High and Asbury Avenue. The Chambers Center will be on your left, with the entrance on Asbury Avenue.

If Traveling Southbound on I-25 from Thornton If traveling south on I-25 take University Blvd Exit 205. Turn right (south). Continue on University Blvd to East Asbury Avenue then turn right. If Traveling Eastbound from Arvada If traveling east, take I-70 E to I-25 South toward Colorado Springs. Take University Blvd Exit 205. Turn right (south).
