Chantell has been involved in evaluation for 15 years. She leads and manages TCC Group's evaluation practice and portfolio. She has served as a principal investigator and project manager for over 10 years with TCC Group, and has been working with many foundations and nonprofit organizations. Previously, as Program Associate at Learning Point and Associates (Formerly NCREL), she worked on the development and pilot testing of an internal evaluation and reporting system designed to assist organizations in assessing their performance (quality assurance) and the outcomes/impacts. Before that, she worked as a Research Associate at Human Capital Research where she was responsible for a small-scale telephone survey lab and engaged in evaluation studies supporting the field of higher education including questions related to student satisfaction, matriculation and retention. She earned a Master's in Public Administration from the University of WI, Milwaukee and a B.S. in Political Science from University of WI, Madison. She is a member of the American Evaluation Association, Chicagoland chapter as well as Chicago Women in Philanthropy.
David has served 27 years as an Executive Director of small advocacy, service, and membership associations. He has evaluated programs for funders, Boards, United Way, and other entities, and advocates a streamlined version of program evaluation addressing the individual concerns of each audience. In his current position, as President of Association Executive Management, he consults to not-for-profit associations on a wide range of governance and operational issues and manages a small membership association. Previously, he served as CEO of associations representing, nursing home residents, community-based organization, and runners. He is Past President of the Niles North High School PTA, North Town Community Council, and Jewish Community Council of West Rogers Park and chaired the Career Services Committee of Association Forum of Chicagoland. He earned an M.A, in Urban Studies from Loyola University of Chicago and a B.A. in Political Science from Northeastern Illinois University. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and member of Association Forum of Chicagoland and American Society of Association Executives.
The seminar will be taking place at the University Center Conference Center Chicago, which is located in the heart of Downtown Chicago, at State Street and Congress Parkway. Cabs are continually on call if you have to get back to the office quickly. Parking is nearby, abundant and inexpensive.

The Red Line stop is at the corner of Harrison and State which is across the street from the building. Driving Directions: From the Southwest (I-55 Stevenson Expressway) Proceed east to the end of I-55 to North Lake Shore Drive. Continue north (towards downtown) on Lake Shore Drive to Balbo Street. Turn left on Balbo to State Street; turn right on State Street. Continue one block. University Center will be on your right between Harrison Street and Congress Parkway.
From the South (I-57 to I-94 Dan Ryan Expressway) Exit at Congress Parkway. Drive east towards downtown to State Street. Turn right on State Street. University Center will be on your left between Congress Parkway and Harrison Street.
From the North (I-90/94 Kennedy/Edens Expressway) Exit at Congress Parkway. Drive east towards downtown to State Street. Turn right on State Street. University Center will be on your left between Congress Parkway and Harrison Street.
From the West (I-290 Eisenhower Expressway) I-290 turns into Congress Parkway at it nears downtown. Continue driving east to State Street. Turn right on State Street. University Center will be on your left between Congress Parkway and Harrison Street.
