Rawle has been an attorney for nearly 20 years and worked in program development for 10 years. As Senior State Director of AARP Maryland, Rawle’s duties include helping nonprofit professionals take control of their careers through personal brand development exercises, coaching, and identifying public speaking opportunities. Previously, as Managing Attorney of AARP Legal Counsel for the Elderly, Rawle was responsible for helping nonprofit professionals take control of the career through coaching, mentoring, identifying speaking and affinity group participation opportunities. Before that Rawle was Chair and Executive Partner of Andrews & Bowe where he directed the firm's law and lobbying activities for various business organizations and individuals. Rawle earned his JD in Law from Howard University and a BA in Psychology from Texas Southern University. Rawle serves as a Commissioner on the DC Access to Justice Commission, and he is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University and the Howard University School of Law. Rawle is Secretary of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, a member of AARP’s Multicultural Strategies Taskforce, the DC Bar’s Strategic Planning Committee, and a board member of the Washington D.C. Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Brad has 20 years of experience with performance improvement as a professional, leader, and executive. He is the founder of an organization focused on employee engagement, career and leadership development. He has worked with non-profits such as St. Jude and the Arthritis Foundation. Previously, as EVP at Novations, Brad was responsible for leadership of the consulting firm focused on the selection, development and retention of employees. He supervised, led and retained 25 direct reports, and was responsible for encouraging employee growth and development. Before that, he worked as Manager of Management Development at Humana Inc. where he was responsible for cross-functional effort to grow staff and tie growth of staff directly to the growth of the company. Brad has served as Board Member for Theatre Memphis. He earned BA in Organizational Communication from University of Maryland and a M.Ed. in Human Resource Development from Vanderbilt University. He is a member of American Society for Training and Development Society for Human Resource Development. A featured speaker at international conferences and meetings, Brad has been interviewed for articles in numerous publications including Fortune Small Business and HR Magazine. He is the author of the book Employee Engagement published in August 2009.
Pamela has been involved in non-profit management for 8 years. In her current position, she is responsible for strategic planning for organizational membership and member relations. Additionally, she develops training programs for new member coordinators, coordinates and oversees new coordinator training and workshops. Previously, as Director of Operations at Global Experiences, Pamela was responsible for the day-to-day management of the business, including the supervision, mentoring, and directing a diverse staff of eight. She was also responsible for international partner relations, including contract negotiation, damage control, and diplomacy. Before that, she worked as Director and National Secretary, IAESTE United States at AIPT where she was responsible for all IAESTE United States initiatives, including corporate partnerships, the international exchange, alumni and membership, and strategic partnerships. She managed an annual budget of just under $1 million, and oversaw the planning and implementation of the annual National Conference, with 200 to 300 attendees each year. Pamela created and managed the Global Education Initiative, a volunteer effort within all of AIPT for employees to volunteer in local schools, presenting on cultures and international experiences. She earned BA in Art History from James Madison University, and she is a member of NAFSA.

By Metro: The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is located on the Metro Red Line at the Dupont Circle Stop. It is within a 5 minute walk from the Metro Station to the meeting venue. As you exit the station you will be at Q Street, NW and Connecticut Avenue, NW. Turn right on Connecticut and cross into the Circle. Exit the Circle on Massachusetts Avenue, NW and the Carnegie Endowment will be approximately 2 blocks down on the left.
By Train: If you are traveling by train, you will arrive at Union Station where you have two options to continue. You can take a taxi for the approximate cost of $15 or you can take the Metro Red Line to the Dupont Circle Stop. As you exit the station you will be at Q Street, NW and Connecticut Avenue, NW. Turn right on Connecticut and cross into the Circle. Exit the Circle on Massachusetts Avenue, NW and the Carnegie Endowment will be approximately 2 blocks down on the left.

From North, I-95 Take Interstate 95 south to Interstate 495 (Capital Beltway) towards Silver Spring/Northern Virginia. Once on I-495, take exit 33, Connecticut Avenue. You will head south on Connecticut Avenue. Stay on Connecticut Avenue until you come to Dupont Circle. Enter the Circle and take the Massachusetts Avenue Exit. The venue will be approximately 1 block down on your left. From Northwest, I-270 Take Interstate 270 to Interstate 495 (Capital Beltway) towards Silver Spring. Once on I-495, take exit 33, Connecticut Avenue. You will head south on Connecticut Avenue. Stay on Connecticut Avenue until you come to Dupont Circle. Enter the Circle and take the Massachusetts Avenue Exit. The venue will be approximately 1 block down on your left.
From West, I-66/Rt. 50 Interstate 66 and Route 50 both connect with the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. Take I-66/Rt. 50 towards Washington DC. Go across the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, exit left at E Street. From E Street, take the Virginia Avenue exit. Bear left, following signs for 23rd Street, NW. Make a right turn onto 23rd Street. At the first traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto New Hampshire Avenue, NW. Stay on New Hampshire until you come to Dupont Circle (second traffic circle). From South, I-95 Take Interstate 95-N to Interstate 395-N. Take 395-N into the District. Continue onto US-1 N (following signs for 14th Street/National Mall). Continue onto 14th Street, NW. Stay on 14th Street, NW. At the first traffic circle, exit onto Massachusetts Avenue, NW. At the second traffic circle (Dupont Circle), continue straight to stay on Massachusetts Avenue, NW.
