Theron Shaw
Development Director and Principal Consultant
Theron Shaw Consulting and InterPlay

Theron has been involved in fundraising for 15 years. As a fundraiser, Theron’s consulting work focuses on creating inspiring, fun and effective fundraising campaigns that achieve clients' financial goals and strengthen their organizations. In addition to his consulting practice, Theron serves as Director of Development for InterPlay, and and currently leads a 3-year $1 million capacity-building campaign, the largest fundraising effort in InterPlay’s twenty-year history. Previously, as Development Manager at Quinn Associates, Theron managed institutional fundraising and individual donor programs for a range of Bay Area performing arts companies from theater, dance and music fields. Quinn Associates is a Bay Area arts management-consulting firm with over 20 years history in serving small and medium size arts organizations. Before that, he worked as founding Director of Development and Operations at Seattle's Recovery Cafe, where he managed individual/major donor programs, special events and institutional fundraising. He earned B.Phil. in International Development from Miami University and a Masters of Planning in Public Affairs from University of Minnesota. He is a member of Northwest Development Officers Association.

Jennifer Weber
Principal
Cornerstone Consulting

Jennifer has been involved in major gift fundraising for 12 years. As the founder of Cornerstone Consulting, Jennifer works with non-profit organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest to help them strengthen their major gift programs and develop innovative donor engagement strategies. Previously, as Vice President of Philanthropy at the Global Fund for Women, Jennifer oversaw the fundraising operations for the largest women's foundation dedicated to advancing the human rights of women and girls around the world. She managed a fundraising team of 15 people, raising $15-17 million a year. Jennifer also established the organization's first philanthropy committee and corporate advisory council. Prior to that, she worked as Sr. Director of Development for Major Gifts at Seattle Children's Hospital where she was responsible for raising leadership gifts for the Hospital’s $350 million campaign. She earned B.A. in English Literature from Occidental College and a M.A. in Education from San Jose State University. She is a member of NDOA and AFP.
