Tracy has been involved in emergency preparedness for seven years. In her current position, she is responsible for developing curriculum and teaching disaster education to a variety of under-served and diverse populations, as well as advocating for vulnerable populations in planning for emergencies. Previously, as Community Disaster Education Manager at American Red Cross, Tracy was responsible for similar work as her current position. Before that, she worked at AmeriCorps where she was responsible for a ten-month service program focusing in the areas of education, unmet human needs, environment, public safety and disaster relief. She has also participated in the Steering and Curriculum Committees for the Partners in Emergency Preparedness Conference. Tracy currently serves as Board Member for Sanctuary Arts Center. She earned BA in Political Science from SUNY Stony Brook.
Karen has been involved in facilitating disaster and emergency preparedness for six years. In her current position, she is responsible for training employees in CPR/First Aid/AED. Previously, as Disaster Chairman at American Red Cross, Karen was responsible for Conduct training seminars related to disaster preparedness Assisted in preparing county wide disaster preparedness plan. Before that, she worked as Mid-Valley Coordinator at Pathfinders, Inc where she was responsible for assisting and training staff in appropriate responses in the event of a disaster or emergency. Participated in table top safety drills. She earned Masters in Business Administration from Boise State University and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Southwestern Assembly of God College. She is a member of International Aglow. She is currently a doctoral learner with University of Phoenix in Business Administration. She also has an AA in Psychology.
Jocelyn has worked for Asian Counseling and Referral Service for over 15 years. In her current position, she is the agency lead in emergency preparation and business continuity planning, responsible for staff training, practice and exercise development, coordination with agency Safety Committee, and outreach and education to agency's vulnerable community members on preparation and planning. Concurrently, she is a member of the Disaster Case Management Coalition, working with a number of service providers in developing standards and practices to support community members in their recovery from an emergency or major incident. Jocelyn has a MSW from the University of Denver.

Our unique one-on-one mentoring sessions offer you the opportunity to sit down with an experienced fundraising professional for 30 minutes to discuss any questions that are specific to your organization. Mentoring sessions cover the same topics as the seminars, and we will assign you a mentor based on his/her availability at your requested times.
