The closest Metro Stop is the Du Pont Circle Metro Stop on the Red Line. Use the Q Street North Exit. Turn right as you exit the escalator (this is Q Street) and follow it to New Hampshire Avenue. Turn left and follow New Hampshire Avenue to 1731. The hotel will be on your right.
Directions By Car:
From North, I-95
Follow the signs to I-95 South to I-495 West toward Silver Spring. Stay on I-495 for about 4 miles. Take exit 31. Make a left onto Georgia Avenue and move to the right lane after exiting. Continue 4 blocks and make a right onto 16th Street. Continue on 16th Street for about 7 miles to the intersection of U Street and New Hampshire Avenue. Take a 45degree turn onto New Hampshire Avenue. Continue 2 ½ blocks to the Carlyle Suites Hotel located on your left at 1731 New Hampshire Avenue.
From West, I-66/Rt. 50
Take US Route 50 West towards Washington. Follow the signs for New York Avenue. Continue on New York Avenue for about 3 miles approaching a long decline. You will see the Federal Express Building on the right. Turn right onto Florida Avenue at the intersection immediately after Federal Express. Continue on Florida Avenue. It will veer to the left after 9th Street and become U Street. Proceed on U Street about 6 blocks to the intersection of U Street, 16th Street, and New Hampshire Avenue. Take a left onto New Hampshire Avenue. Continue 2 ½ blocks to the Carlyle Suites Hotel on your left at 1731 New Hampshire Avenue.
From South, I-95
Take I-95 North to I-395 North towards Washington. You will pass the Pentagon on your left. Continue about ½ mile to the 14th Street Bridge. Take the bridge staying in the left lane following the signs for US Route 1 North. Continue on 14th Street and take a left on I (Eye) Street. Go 3 blocks and take a right turn onto 16th Street. Proceed about 9 blocks, going under Scott Circle and turn left onto R Street. Travel 2 more blocks and make a right turn onto New Hampshire Avenue. The Carlyle Suites Hotel will be located on your right side at 1731 New Hampshire Avenue.

The following parking options are available:
1. Limited complimentary parking for 20 cars is available in the alley behind the hotel. To park in the Hotel parking lot, park in front of the hotel in the 15 minute drop off area, and approach the concierge for a parking permit to park in the hotel lot. Parking permits must be clearly displayed on the dashboard of all cars in the lot. Unregistered vehicles are subject to ticketing and towing.
