Christopher Cross is Director of Cross Associates, a national fundraising consulting firm, headquartered in Niwot, Co. A graduate of Boston University, Chris has over 25 years of fundraising experience and has served as national director of fundraising for such organizations as the United States Ski Team and the American Humane Association. He formed regional major gifts committees for both organizations and was also responsible for recruiting committee chairs and training volunteers how to identify, cultivate and solicit major gifts. In 1991, Cross founded Cross Associates which specializes in capital campaigns, major gift programs and planned giving. As a consultant, Chris has guided clients in establishing and operating successful major gift programs, and training development directors and volunteers. The firm has provided fundraising consulting services to a wide variety of nonprofit institutions throughout the United States.
A fundraising professional for over a decade, Robb Pike started his career at the United Way of Loveland, Colorado as a Loaned Executive helping complete the first million-dollar campaign. Next he worked for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Seattle organizing the MS Walk, and MS Bike Ride. Later, Robb worked with United Way in Seattle as part of the major gifts staff. He then worked for the United Way of the National Capital Area in D.C.. Robb arrived in D.C. the day the Washington Post ran a story that the former CEO of the United Way had stolen money. He referred to the years in DC as “the best crisis management training one could have.” Robb has presented to professional groups on topics ranging from development work plans to individual solicitation. Robb is a graduate of Mesa State College, CO.
Our unique one-on-one mentoring sessions offer you the opportunity to sit down with an experienced fundraising professional for 30 minutes to discuss any questions that are specific to your organization. Mentoring sessions cover the same topics as the seminars, and we will assign you a mentor based on his/her availability at your requested times.
Mentoring sessions are available for the cost of $ per session. If you register for a full Summit pass, mentoring sessions are included in the pass.
