Ray Merenstein

Ray Merenstein has over twenty years of fundraising, public relations, issues management, lobbying and market research experience in academic, not-for-profit and corporate environments. After a decade of health care advocacy work in Washington, DC, he oversaw fundraising for The Children’s Hospital Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, Children’s Miracle Network, and The Children’s Hospital Research Institute as part of a $250 million capital and endowment campaign. He has served as lead consultant for environmental, housing, mental health, education and youth organizations for capital campaigns, branding, marketing and public affairs. He holds a Masters Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Florida. His expertise in media relations, special events and public outreach has garnered him the American Hospital Association`s Silver Touchstone and Circle of Distinction as well as awards in video, public affairs and fundraising programs.

Mike has 24 years experience in marketing and fundraising with a focus on donor and event development, sponsorship programs and communications. He is a seasoned professional in the area of sponsorship sales, cause marketing strategies and brand management. As Director of Corporate Giving for The Children’s Hospital Foundation, Mike drew upon his considerable skill set to develop and implement the corporate giving strategy for the Imagine the Miracles Campaign to build the new Hospital. Today, his contacts, breadth of knowledge and marketing skills help ensure strategic partnerships extend beyond philanthropic efforts to achieve a donor or client’s marketing and giving goals as well. In addition to these efforts he has also developed leadership programs and managed staffs to maximize productivity and generate lasting results.
