Speakers for this session:

Ron Bills
Chairman and CEO
Envirofit International

Ron is a global leader in the field of technology development and social entrepreneurship. Ron has worked with small non-profits to multi-national corporations, implementing a variety of funding models to meet operations & inventory needs, and drive innovative private/public partnerships. Prior to Envirofit, Bills was president and CEO of Segway and previously led several worldwide business units for Polaris Industries, Yamaha Motor Corporations and Bombardier. His career began as an engineer with Martin Marietta Aerospace. Ron has business degrees from Regis University and a mechanical engineering degree from University of Nebraska Omaha.

Tiffany Espinosa

University of Colorado Denver Business School

At the University of Colorado Denver, Tiffany acts as a Manager for Strategic Outreach and a Sustainability Faculty Member. She has overseen the business collaborations for the 11-Month MBA, both on the academic side working with students in collaborations and in recruiting organizations as partners. Collaborators include IBM, British Telecom, Coors, Prologis, and Social Venture Partners. Tiffany`s research and teaching interests are in social entrepreneurship, strategic decision making, asset mapping, community wealth development, capacity building, and public-private partnership. Tiffany currently serves as a Judge for the William James Socially Responsible Business Plan Competition. She is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Denver, a program dedicated to promoting public-private partnerships and civic volunteerism. She has presented at local, regional and international conferences. Tiffany has an MBA and a MA in Education from the University of Colorado Denver and an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences from the University of Michigan.

Remy Spreeuw is the Associate Publisher at 5280 Denver’s Magazine. Spreeuw is responsible for generating 80% of the company`s revenue while strategically driving dynamic growth and maintaining impressive brand standards. Spreeuw has worked diligently to expand 5280`s sponsorship involvement to support the branding and fundraising efforts of non-profits across the city. She concepted and executed the successful fundraiser "Single in the City" as a means of giving back to the community. Since it`s inception in early 2001, the "Single in the City" fundraiser has generated more than $160,000 for local non-profit organizations including Hospice of Metro Denver, the Denver Zoo and Volunteers of America, while evolving into one of Denver`s most anticipated events. Spreeuw serves as a Board member for the Colorado Children`s Campaign, Sponsorship Chair for Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains and an inaugural member of The Empowerment Council for The Women`s Foundation.

Matt Wasserman
Senior Director of Development
University of Colorado Foundation

Matt Wasserman has over 15 years of development experience, directing numerous organizations to meet funding objectives and goals. He has an impressive track record of developing partnerships between non-profits and corporations, enhancing the ability of organizations to bring needed services to the community, and allowing the partnering corporations to effectively communicate their message of corporate citizenship. Matt currently serves as a Senior Director Development for the University of Colorado Foundation, where he manages a $20 Million capital campaign for the UC Denver Business School. Prior to the CU Foundation he was a Partner with the fundraising consulting firm Denver Development Group (DDG), where he expanded the corporate relations programs for several non profits. Matt also served as the Corporate Relations Manager for the Denver Art Museum, overseeing the museum’s corporate membership and sponsorship programs. Matt received his MBA from the University of Colorado Denver Business School.
