Beth has been involved in marketing for the last 7 years. In her current position she is responsible for training non-profit and cause-centric organizations to utilize Facebook and other social media to further their purposes and maximize their success. In her previous position as Executive Pastor of Development for Victory Fellowship Church in Nashville, TN, she was responsible for managing Facebook pages for several companies and successful social media advertising campaigns. She is currently a member of Junior League where she serves as a volunteer for many organizations and programs around South Bend, IN. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Jacksonville State University.

Gabriela Jirasek

Chicago Humanities Festival

Gabriela has been involved in marketing and new media for 5 years. In her current position, she is responsible for managing and producing all content for the Festival's social media outlets including Facebook and Twitter. Gabriela curates multimedia content from the Festival's extensive library of past Festival lectures for the Facebook audience. She works with the CHF Web Team to maximize Festival content from www.chicagohumanities.org for social media sharing. She earned a BA in International Relations from Tufts University. Gabriela is currently a member of the national Emerging Leaders Council of Americans for the Arts, the country’s leading arts advocacy organization. She formerly served as chair of the Council’s Technology Committee.

J. Gordon Wright

Erikson Institute

Gordon has been involved in digital marketing for more than 10 years. In his current position, he manages the analytics for Erikson's Facebook page, helping to craft targeted social media strategies. With its page Erikson targets not only students and alumni, but also the wider community of interest around early childhood. Previously, as the Electronic Communications Specialist at the MacArthur Foundation, Gordon implemented the Facebook Platform on MacArthur's website. After graduating with a BA in psychology from Brown University, Gordon came to digital marketing during his many years on the road promoting his rock band in the internet's blooming adolescence.
